What is the healthiest steam juice

Apple juice from the steam extractor

  1. The best way to fill the bottles is to boil them in water or to sterilize them in the stove. If necessary, rinse with high percentage alcohol and allow to dry well.
  2. Wash the apples, liberally remove the chipped areas and roughly cut the fruit, including the skin and core.
  3. Fill the water pot of the steam juicer about 3/4 full with water. Place the juice collector and the fruit container with the apples on it. Make sure that the hose clamp of the drain hose is properly seated so that nothing runs off.
  4. Bring the water to a boil and cook for 70 minutes.
  5. Preheat the bottles in the oven at approx. 70-80 ° C.
  6. Place a large pot on an armchair so that it fits under the drain hose.
  7. Place a bottle in the collecting pan and fill it. Pour the first contents of the bottle into the fruit basket again to ensure an even concentration of juice.
  8. Now fill all bottles and close them immediately. Cover and let cool down.

The shelf life is up to 1 year when stored in a cool and dark place. Depending on the type of apple, the juice is either sweeter or tart. The yield also varies depending on the apple variety: 5 kg of fruit produce approx. 3 liters of juice.
