What are overrated firearms and why

Guns are completely overrated.

It was the same for me when I bought a Tommygun at a dealer in Egun. He also sent the part with DHL, but without personal delivery and ID control, etc. I was in the hospital at the time and the postman handed the package to the neighbor, just threw a notification in me. Funny, if I order an action film from Amazon that is not suitable for minors, I have to show my ID even though I'm almost 60 ........................ .

  • @ all

to avoid misunderstandings. Nobody would have to take their hats because of me. In my opinion, a warning would be sufficient here.

The dealer didn't care where the package was. That stank of the fact that someone sent it with DHL.

What else can he say about it ......

Lastly, THE saying: Every reloader is responsible for himself, no guarantee for the information etc.

  • I also found a delivery from the courier service with a gun leaning against the front door inside.

Just because the shipping costs 35 € that is unfortunately no guarantee that the item will be delivered better than with DHL

A little over a week ago a shotgun was delivered: a delivery of 4 or 5 packages and packages in total, one of the packages was the shotgun. The parcels were leaning against the wall of the house, the DHL driver was already on the run when I opened the door: "Everything for you". No ID check, no signature. It's normal now - DHL gets what you pay for.

  • Every more commercial DHL customer (with a contract) can order ID Check.

    https://www.dhl.de/de/geschaef…loesungen.html#identcheck

    Costs € 2.99 net

Neighborhood deliveries can also be excluded

    https://www.dhl.de/de/geschaef…ml#keinenachbarzufellung

    costs € 0.29 net

  • It's so simple. As long as no one can prove (ID check etc.) that I have received a package with a weapon, I have not received the package. Even if many "retailers" see things differently in the meantime, keyword purchase of consumer goods.

As long as the weapon is not in my possession according to weapons law, others should rotate ... After a week, call the sender where the delivery will be and wait patiently. you could also call the office and explain the situation so that the nice clerk does not start with the 10-day period due to the notification from the dealer.

An acquaintance once had such a case. The parcel delivery man arrived on his knees after a week and asked for a signature because otherwise a weapon would have "disappeared".

The most sensible way to learn is two ways, money or pain

It annoys me when I pay real money for the delivery, when I am completely available at the front door for one morning and when the gun is handed over to me by my mother, whose front door is four meters from mine.

Male first names with ID verification and female recipient should be distinguishable ...

There belongs steam in the booth!

The one ("sales law") and the other ("gun law") have nothing to do with each other.

In terms of weapons law, the dealer / private seller surrenders a weapon at the moment it is handed over to the shipping service. From this point in time, the sender usually has no more influence over the item, his control over the weapon ends.

Read in the various comments on §34 WaffG.

If the weapon is lost, it would be unauthorized surrender or a violation of §36. The sender can exculpate himself, however, by proving that he has done everything necessary to ensure that the weapon does not get lost, in particular by choosing a reliable shipping service and ensuring that the shipping service only delivers the weapon to an authorized person (e.g. by means of an ID check , Exclusion of replacement delivery).

Shipping to an arms dealer does not release you from the duty of care. Just remember that there are also WHE owners who do their trade from the kitchen table. Parcels addressed to such retailers can quickly end up in front of the door or at the neighbor's.

If the buyer insists on another (cheaper) shipping method ("I'm always at home"), the breach of obligations falls on the buyer, in other words: the buyer has the problem.

just like that, somehow you're right. But since Corona NO service provider requires a signature anymore. Most of them know the recipient anyway.
How does the messenger know what's in the package? Is it written on the packaging ATTENTION WEAPON?

It's strange, many disregard all the rules, but when others do that, the suppository goes up.

Of course you can open a barrel now. So what? Next, politicians are happy again, tighten everything up, and then?

Remember how it all started with the magazines. Someone couldn't keep his mouth shut and said he had to open a barrel.

And if things continue like this in the circles, a lot will be cut back soon anyway. Nobody sticks to the rules.

And life could be so simple.

But you also have to be able to say - many foreigners work at DHL who cannot even speak German, let alone read. Somehow our German names all sound the same to them.

Just had such an enlightening conversation with a Romanian from DHL. I can speak Romanian and understand the mentality. He rings once. Not at home, he never rings the doorbell again. Then the package is either deposited at the entrance or with the neighbor. They wouldn't have time ... And if you ever get stupid, you can pick up your parcels at the branch in the future. It never rings again.

    Quote end

But that also applies to EVERYONE else.

What you are doing is again pure bushing against DHL or counter talk

Here with us z. B. are only Germans with DHL.

everyone has to know for himself what he is doing

My experience has nothing to do with Corona. I bought the Thompson a few years ago.

  • This morning I had a very pleasant phone call with the owner

He was so pissed off yesterday because of the situation that he needed air for the first time before he apologized again by phone. He wanted to give me a very generous voucher, which I refused due to the current situation in the retail sector.

Due to the fact that there have already been several spectacles, weapons were only sent overnight. The day and time slot for delivery will be clarified with the customer. If something goes wrong, the customer automatically reports if nobody shows up within the agreed period.

All employees had also received instructions as to which company should send weapons, ammunition, etc. The instruction was also signed by every employee months ago.

Since all the precautions and instructions did not work, there are only 2 employees who are responsible for ordering / shipping.

I like the man. Danger recognized Danger averted ……. Many companies could learn a thing or two from this.

The man is just afraid for his WHE. Therefore also the "generous voucher" so that you shut up.

The man has a very clear attitude. Like me, he sees justified complaints as positive in order to be able to continuously develop.

He also belongs to the generation that doesn’t show any nakedness.
