Is Taylor Swift a lesbian 1

Taylor Swift is an advocate for LGBTQ rights

In June gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender (LGBT) celebrate the open treatment of their sexual identity and promote more tolerance.

Just in time for June 1st, pop singer Taylor Swift (29) is now campaigning for the rights of gays and lesbians. She wants to campaign for the LGBTQ community with a petition to the US Senate.

Swift has now published a letter on Instagram that she has sent to the Senator of her home state of Tennessee, Lamar Alexander, 78. In it, she appeals to politicians, among other things, to sign the so-called “Equality Act”, an equality law intended to help minorities achieve equal rights.

Discrimination against the LGBTQ community is "un-American and cruel," explains Swift in her post. The Equality Act would give them the protection they need.

A draft of the law has already been passed, but the US Senate has not yet approved it. President Donald Trump (72) criticized the draft.

In April Swift donated around 100,000 euros to an organization that campaigns for the rights of gays and lesbians in Tennessee. Now she is starting the petition and at the same time appeals to all of her fans to get involved politically and to write to senators as well.
