Clayton Hotel Cardiff Lane: Reviews
Not pleased with the overall experience
The hotel rooms were very nice and clean. The leisure center and staff were wonderful. Location is good for a walk around the city.
Hotel staff wasn't overly helpful. No parking on site (no valet either). I asked for someone to help bring in bags and they never sent anyone out. Each time we ordered room service they got part of our order wrong and it was like pulling teeth to get them to fix something simple. Not a very customer centric environment. I don't think I'd stay there again.
Close to temple bar and a comfortable stay
Nice staff, close to the business area, outdated bathrooms.
I liked that it was very close to the business area, and you could walk to Temple Bar, within 15 minutes. The hotel staff is very kind.
It was a little bit old fashion for a tech district. My room had a bathroom for disabled people and it was a little bit uncomfortable. Not sure if it was because of the room availability. Don't call a taxi from the hotel, it takes forever. We waited for 30 min and ended up booking a MyTaxi last minute, since we were going to be late and we had no clue on how longer we had to wait.
I liked the rooms and workout facilities and the staff were very helpful answering any questions.
